| CTXⅡ

CTX-II (C-terminal cross-linked telopeptide of type II collagen) is a degradation product derived from the carboxyl-terminal end of type II collagen, specifically originating from its helical region, hence referred to as the C-terminal telopeptide of type II collagen. Type II collagen is composed of a triple-helical structure formed by three α1 chains, with each α chain containing both N-terminal and C-terminal telopeptides. Under normal physiological conditions, a delicate balance exists between the synthesis and degradation of this collagen network.

The recovery of Human CTXⅡ spiked at three different levels in samples throughout the range of the assay was evaluated in various matrices.

| Linearity

Samples were spiked with high concentrations of Human CTXⅡ and diluted with Universal Diluent to produce samples with values within the range of the assay.
